Selection Process
CDS 2 selection has two stages. The first is the written exam, and its result is now out. Qualified candidates then appear for the SSB interview (Stage I and Stage II). For IMA, INA and AFA, the written exam carries 300 marks and the SSB interview carries 300 marks, for a total of 600. For OTA (Men and Women), the written exam carries 200 marks and the SSB interview carries 200 marks, for a total of 400.

How to Prepare for the SSB Stage (3 Steps)
- Download the written result PDF, search your roll number, and keep a printout of the result along with your admit card.
- Wait for the SSB call letter and follow its instructions exactly, since the call letter is the final guide for reporting.
- Keep your documents ready: valid photo ID, date of birth proof, educational certificates and marksheets, category certificate if applicable, and recent passport-size photographs. UPSC has not published an official checklist, so treat this list as indicative.
