Age limit
- Minimum age: 16 years 6 months and maximum age: 19 years 6 months, calculated as on 1 July 2027
- Date of birth must fall between 1 January 2008 and 1 January 2011 (both dates included)
- Age is taken from the Matriculation or Class 10 certificate; changes to recorded date of birth are not allowed
Eligibility
- Unmarried male candidate who has passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- At least 60% aggregate marks in PCM, calculated from Class 12 marks and entered up to two decimal places without rounding
- Must have appeared in JEE Main 2026; shortlisting is done on the JEE Main 2026 Common Rank List
- Must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, or an eligible person of Indian origin as defined in the notice; Gorkha subjects of Nepal are exempt from the Government of India eligibility certificate
- Candidates who marry after applying will not be selected, and must not marry during training

Selection Process
