Eligibility
- <ul><li>Must rank among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2027.</li><li>Can appear at most two times in two consecutive years.</li><li>Must have been born on or after October 1, 2002 (5-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD).</li><li>Passed Class 12 with PCM in 2026 or 2027 with minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST).</li></ul>

How many times can a student attempt JEE Advanced?
A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
What is the top 2.5 lakh cutoff rule?
Only the top 2,50,000 candidates (category-wise distribution) who qualify JEE Main are eligible to register and appear for JEE Advanced.
Is calculator allowed in JEE Advanced?
No physical calculators are allowed, but a virtual scientific calculator is integrated into the computer-based exam interface.
Are foreign nationals eligible for JEE Advanced?
Yes, OCI/PIO cardholders and foreign nationals do not need to appear for JEE Main and can directly register for JEE Advanced subject to meeting criteria.
