RRB NTPC is the Railway recruitment for non-technical posts such as Goods Train Manager, Station Master, Senior Clerk, Junior Accounts Assistant (graduate level) and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk, Junior Clerk (12th level). Selection: CBT 1, CBT 2, typing or aptitude test, document verification. RRB NTPC 2026 forms: graduate (CEN 06/2026) till 6 November, 12th level (CEN 07/2026) till 13 November 2026.

One-third mark is deducted per wrong answer. CBT 2 marks decide the merit; CBT 1 only shortlists (about 15 times the vacancies).
RRB NTPC syllabus
- General Awareness: current affairs, Indian history, geography, polity, economy, general science (Class 10), computers, railways, sports, art and culture.
- Mathematics: number system, decimals, fractions, LCM/HCF, ratio, percentage, mensuration, time-work, time-distance, SI/CI, profit-loss, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics.
- Reasoning: analogies, series, coding-decoding, puzzles, syllogism, Venn diagrams, data sufficiency, statement-conclusion, decision making, maps and graphs.
How to crack RRB NTPC in 2 months
- General Awareness is 40% of CBT 1: do Lucent GK (static) + 6 months of current affairs + railway facts.
- Solve the 2021 and 2025 NTPC papers (all shifts) to see the real difficulty: Maths is Class 10 level, speed matters.
- Take a 90-minute mock every alternate day; target 75+ in CBT 1 (General cut-offs run 70–85).
- Start typing practice early if you want clerk posts.

RRB NTPC 2026 ka exam kab hai?
RRB ne tentative schedule me CBT 1 December 2026 (graduate, CEN 06/2026) ke aaspaas bataya hai; 12th level (CEN 07/2026) CBT 1 January 2027 me expected hai. Exact dates city intimation slip ke saath 10 din pehle aati hain.
RRB NTPC ke liye age limit kya hai?
12th level posts: 18–33 years; graduate posts: 18–36 years, as on 1 January 2027 (check the CEN). OBC-NCL +3 years, SC/ST +5 years.
RRB NTPC me negative marking hai?
Yes, one-third mark is deducted for each wrong answer in CBT 1 and CBT 2.
RRB NTPC ki fees kitni hai?
₹500 for General/OBC (₹400 refunded after appearing in CBT 1); ₹250 for SC, ST, women, ex-servicemen, PwBD, minorities and EBC (fully refunded).
12th pass RRB NTPC de sakta hai?
Yes. CEN 07/2026 (undergraduate level) is for Class 12 pass candidates: Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk.
Station Master ke liye kya chahiye?
Graduate (any stream), age 18–36, and you must clear CBT 1, CBT 2 and the Computer Based Aptitude Test (no negative marking, minimum T-score 42 in each test battery).
