Army Agniveer 2027: Notification, Eligibility, Age, Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Agniveer is the Indian Army's 4-year soldier entry under the Agnipath scheme for unmarried men and women aged 17½–21. Selection has three steps: online Common Entrance Exam (CEE), physical fitness test at a recruitment rally, and medical. Registration for the 2027 cycle is expected in February–March 2027 at joinindianarmy.nic.in; fee ₹250.

Agniveer selection process
- Online CEE: 50 questions, 60 minutes, ¼ negative marking; bonus marks for NCC, ITI, sports.
- Recruitment rally: 1.6 km run (Group I under 5:30, Group II under 5:45), pull-ups (10 for 40 marks), 9-feet ditch, zig-zag balance; height, chest and weight check.
- Medical examination and document verification.
Agniveer CEE syllabus
- General Knowledge: Indian history, geography, polity, awards, Army ranks and decorations, current affairs.
- General Science: Class 8–10 Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
- Mathematics: number system, percentage, ratio, average, SI/CI, time-work, mensuration (Class 10).
- Logical reasoning: series, analogies, odd one out.
- Technical (extra): Class 12 Physics, Chemistry, Maths. Clerk (extra): English grammar, computer basics.
How to prepare
Start physical training today (run 3 days a week) because the rally decides the final merit as much as the CEE. For the CEE, finish Class 8–10 NCERT Maths and Science, then solve the 2024–2026 Agniveer papers. Keep all documents (Aadhaar, marksheets, domicile, caste, NCC) scanned and ready. Dates: Agniveer 2027 notification. Officer route after Class 12: NDA.

Agniveer 2027 ka form kab aayega?
Expected February–March 2027 at joinindianarmy.nic.in (2026 cycle: 13 February – 1 April). Set an alert on the Agniveer 2027 page.
Agniveer ke liye qualification kya chahiye?
GD: Class 10 with 45%. Technical: Class 12 PCM with 50% (or 10th + ITI). Clerk: Class 12 with 60%. Tradesman: Class 8 or 10 by trade.
Agniveer ki age limit kya hai?
17½ to 21 years in the recruitment year; no relaxation. Only unmarried candidates.
Agniveer ke baad permanent job milti hai?
After 4 years, up to 25% of each batch is selected for regular service (15 more years). Others get the Seva Nidhi package (about ₹10.04 lakh), a skill certificate and reservation in CAPF, Assam Rifles and several state police forces.
Agniveer exam me negative marking hai?
Yes, one-fourth of the marks are deducted for each wrong answer in the online CEE.
